What we process and why
- Your email address, to sign you in. Without it you can't use Contaq.
- The contacts, notes and photos you add, and your voice notes, which are turned into text and not stored as audio. This is how Contaq works (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- The time of each AI request, for daily usage limits; cookie-free usage statistics; and your IP address, to deliver the app and protect it from abuse. Our legitimate interest is a secure, fair and improving service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who receives data
Supabase (database and sign-in, EU), Cloudflare (hosting), PostHog (statistics, EU) and OpenAI (AI processing, USA), each under a data processing agreement. Transfers outside the EU are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Nothing is sold or used to train AI models.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. Deleting your account in Settings deletes everything in it straight away.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, restrict its use, or object to it, at hello@contaq.ai. You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as Portugal's CNPD (cnpd.pt).
